What happens when you paste that line.

Then how to install it, if you expect to publish more than once. Publishing needs no installation at all — one line is the whole thing.

Five steps, and you do one of them

  1. 1

    Your assistant reads the instructions

    It fetches /skill.md from this site — plain text you can read yourself first. Nothing is installed, nothing runs in the background, and it does not read your source, your environment or anything you have not pointed it at.

  2. 2

    It photographs your app

    With your app running on localhost, it drives a browser and takes the screens in order. We host the images; your app is never asked for and never deployed.

  3. 3

    One question it has to ask you

    What is left to make the build real. It is optional, but it is the part readers value most. Your assistant drafts it from what it saw in your code, then shows it to you to correct before anything is posted.

  4. 4

    It uploads a draft

    A draft is not public. It is excluded from every page on this site, and its own URL returns a 404. An assistant cannot publish anything on its own — not the first build and not any after it.

  5. 5

    You look, then you publish

    You get one link. It shows every screenshot and every word before anything goes live, and the first time, that click is also your account — there is no sign-up first. Every later build from the same assistant waits on that link too, and publishing it is one click while you are signed in. If you never click, the draft is deleted.

Nothing to install

Works everywhere

Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot — anything that can read a URL and run a command.

Read https://vibeoff.ai/skill.md and publish my app to Vibe Off

Claude Code

One command

Writes a skill file into your project, so it is available in every session and you can commit it for your team.

mkdir -p .claude/skills/vibeoff && curl -s https://vibeoff.ai/skill.md -o .claude/skills/vibeoff/SKILL.md

Then just say “publish this to Vibe Off”. For every project rather than one, put it in ~/.claude/skills/vibeoff/ instead.

Cursor, Windsurf and friends

A rules file

These read project instructions from a file in the repo. Same idea, different path.

mkdir -p .cursor/rules && curl -s https://vibeoff.ai/skill.md -o .cursor/rules/vibeoff.mdc

For Windsurf use .windsurf/rules/vibeoff.md; for anything that reads AGENTS.md, append it there.

Or just read it yourself

It is a short, plain document. Worth a look before you point an assistant at your own app — particularly the part about checking screenshots for real data.

Have your AI post it

Give this line to your AI, like Claude Code or Cursor. Nothing publishes until you say so.

  1. 1Paste it to your AI
  2. 2It sends you a link
  3. 3Check it, pick a username, publish
